Most inspiration galleries are stock photography from somewhere that does not have our sun, our water table or our salt air. You find an image you like, and nobody can tell you what it would take to build it here — or whether it would still look like that in two years.
Everything on these pages is a project we installed in Florida. Each idea comes with the part that usually goes unsaid: the base, the slope, the joint, the thickness. That is the difference between a picture and a plan.
