Certified InstallerBradenton mixes old sandy lots near the bay with newer homes on builder fill. Both fail the same way under a car when the base is thin: ruts in the wheel tracks and a dip at the garage within a few years.
The detail that changes here: West of 75th Street and toward Cortez we treat it as coastal — marine-grade joint compound and a stronger edge restraint against salt and wind-blown sand.

Materials
Travertine is beautiful on a pool deck, but it is too soft and porous for tyres in Florida heat — so it is not on this list.
No sealing, no fading, no oil stains
Non-porous, so oil, rust and tyre rubber stay on the surface and rinse off. Colour does not fade in Florida sun. Always 3CM (1¼ in) for vehicles — 2CM is for pool decks and patios — and mortar-set on a concrete base.

We measure, check drainage and the existing slab, and give you a written, itemised quote.
HOA review and road right-of-way permit when your address needs them — before work starts.
Excavate for a vehicle-rated base, then compact crushed stone in lifts over geotextile.
Concrete or anchored restraint on every edge, so pavers cannot creep outward under tyres.
Herringbone 45° for vehicle areas, clean wet-saw cuts and no lippage between pavers.
Polymeric or marine-grade joint compound, final cleaning and a walkthrough with you.

Questions
It depends on the material, the size, removal of the old driveway and the base your lot needs. Concrete pavers cost the least, clay brick is in the middle and 3CM porcelain is the premium option. We measure on site and give an itemised written estimate.
Often, when the driveway apron meets a county or city road. HOA communities also need review approval. We check both at the estimate so nothing stops the job midway.
3CM porcelain near the water, because it never needs sealing and salt does not get into it; clay brick for the longest service life; concrete pavers for the best value inland.
Two to four working days for a typical single-car driveway, three to five for a double driveway with demolition. We give you the schedule before we start.

Highly recommend EC Pavers. Diogo is great to work with and his crew is fast and very detailed. They completed a large project around our pool using 3cm ceramic pavers and mosaic tiles wrapping the spa and waterline of the pool. A few months later, they came back to do the driveway also in the same ceramic pavers. The work was done promptly and everything was handled in a professional and efficient manner. Diogo has come back a few times to take care of minor items and is always available to address any concerns. I’m very happy with the work and highly recommend them to anyone.
