Hardscape.com certified patios that suit Venice architecture — and stay level, drained and easy to live with.
Venice was planned around Northern Italian architecture, and on the island stone and warm tones fit the house as much as the yard. The ground is coastal sand: it needs confinement and a compacted base, or a patio settles unevenly where the gutters discharge.
The detail that changes here: On the island and near the beaches we treat every patio as coastal: marine-grade joint compound, a sealing plan for natural stone from day one, and stainless or concrete edge restraint.
We build paver patios throughout Venice:
We measure on site, check drainage and any existing slab, and send a written, itemised quote.
Materials
Chosen by sun, salt and how much upkeep you want — not by the brochure.

Learn moreThe coolest surface underfoot
Natural stone that stays comfortable barefoot in full Florida sun. Classic in a French pattern. Needs sealing on a regular schedule, more often near the coast.
Learn moreClassic look, best value
Clay brick for colour that never fades and a long service life; concrete pavers for the widest choice of colours and shapes at the best price.
Learn moreTravertine in a French pattern is the natural match for Venice Island homes, and it stays comfortable barefoot in August. It needs sealing on a coastal schedule, and we tell you that up front.
For owners who want a patio they never have to seal, large-format porcelain gives a stone look with no upkeep beyond a rinse.
Many Venice Gardens and South Venice homes have a 1950s–80s slab behind the house. If it is sound, we pave over it instead of demolishing it.

Process
We measure, check where water goes and assess any existing slab, then lay out the footprint with you.
HOA review when your community requires it — before any work starts.
New areas: excavate, geotextile and compacted crushed stone in lifts. Existing slab: clean, repair and profile for mortar.
Confined edges and a fall away from the house, so roof water leaves the patio.
Pattern laid and levelled continuously, clean wet-saw cuts around columns, drains and doors, no lippage.
Polymeric or marine-grade joints, sealing where the material needs it, and a final walkthrough with you.
Our Work
Real projects, photographed on site. No stock imagery.

Questions
Cost depends on the material, the size, the base your lot needs and whether there is an old slab to remove or build over. Brick and concrete pavers cost the least; travertine and porcelain are the premium options. We measure on site and give a written, itemised estimate.
Travertine if you want the classic Venice look and the coolest surface underfoot, and you accept periodic sealing near the coast. Porcelain if you want zero sealing and no stains. Both handle Florida sun well when the base is right.
Yes — Venice Island, Venice Gardens, South Venice, Nokomis, Laurel and North Venice, plus the rest of Sarasota County.
Most residential patios take two to four working days, depending on size, demolition and whether pavers go over an existing slab. We give you the schedule before we start.

Highly recommend! EC Paver was able to get me scheduled quickly at a fair price. They did a great job on my pavers and offered to return if we had any issues.

Diogo and his team replaced our horrible travertine pavers with large porcelain pavers in a light cream. They are incredible! The entire team did such a great job and we’re very happy with the outcome! We highly recommend EC Paver Solutions!

I just have installed the "Da Vinci" Italian Porcelain tiles by EC Paver Solutions in my driveway, and I could not be happier with the results. Diego and his team did fantastic job. They finished the project on time we agreed on and they clean after the work was done. Great job done!

Highly recommend EC Pavers. Diogo is great to work with and his crew is fast and very detailed. They completed a large project around our pool using 3cm ceramic pavers and mosaic tiles wrapping the spa and waterline of the pool. A few months later, they came back to do the driveway also in the same ceramic pavers. The work was done promptly and everything was handled in a professional and efficient manner. Diogo has come back a few times to take care of minor items and is always available to address any concerns. I’m very happy with the work and highly recommend them to anyone.
