Turn a painted lanai slab into a stone or porcelain floor that lasts — installed inside your screen, at the right height at the door.
Venice lanais live in salt air, sun and pool chemistry at once. Painted and textured coatings fade, chalk and peel, and many older lanai slabs have hairline cracks that a new coat of paint only hides for a while.
The detail that changes here: We remove the coating, treat cracks before setting, and use joints rated for salt and pool chemicals near the beaches.
We upgrade lanais throughout Venice:
We measure the door clearance, check the slab and send a written, itemised quote.
Materials
On a lanai, the height at the door decides as much as the look.

The coolest surface barefoot and a classic Florida lanai look. Thicker than porcelain, so we confirm door clearance first. Needs periodic sealing.

Run the same porcelain from the living room door to the pool coping for one continuous surface — inside the screen and out to the deck.

Older slabs in Venice Gardens and South Venice often have settlement cracks; we map them and decide whether to bridge them or cut a movement joint.
We work inside the screen enclosure and protect it — no cage removal for a paver job.

Process
We measure door clearance, map cracks and confirm the slope toward the screen.
HOA review when your community requires it — before any work starts.
Paint, texture and old coatings come off; the slab is cleaned and profiled for mortar.
Cracks are bridged with a membrane or given a movement joint so they do not telegraph through.
Pavers set in mortar, cut cleanly around posts, kick plates and screen doors, with no lippage.
Grout or compound rated for pool chemicals and salt, final cleaning and a walkthrough with you.
Our Work
Real projects, photographed on site. No stock imagery.

Questions
Yes, if the slab is sound, drains toward the screen and there is enough height at the door. We check all three on site and mortar-set the pavers directly on the slab.
Porcelain when door clearance is tight or you want zero sealing; travertine for the classic Venice look and the coolest surface, with periodic sealing.
No. We work inside the enclosure, cut cleanly around the posts and screen doors, and leave the cage in place.
Most lanais take two to four working days, including coating removal and slab prep. We give you the schedule before we start.

Highly recommend! EC Paver was able to get me scheduled quickly at a fair price. They did a great job on my pavers and offered to return if we had any issues.

Diogo and his team replaced our horrible travertine pavers with large porcelain pavers in a light cream. They are incredible! The entire team did such a great job and we’re very happy with the outcome! We highly recommend EC Paver Solutions!

I just have installed the "Da Vinci" Italian Porcelain tiles by EC Paver Solutions in my driveway, and I could not be happier with the results. Diego and his team did fantastic job. They finished the project on time we agreed on and they clean after the work was done. Great job done!

Highly recommend EC Pavers. Diogo is great to work with and his crew is fast and very detailed. They completed a large project around our pool using 3cm ceramic pavers and mosaic tiles wrapping the spa and waterline of the pool. A few months later, they came back to do the driveway also in the same ceramic pavers. The work was done promptly and everything was handled in a professional and efficient manner. Diogo has come back a few times to take care of minor items and is always available to address any concerns. I’m very happy with the work and highly recommend them to anyone.
